Notice – Mixed Doubles Tournament March 24 Cancelled

The increased concern over the spreading of the Coronavirus has led the VDA executive to cancel the upcoming Mixed Doubles Tournament on March 24th. This decision was not made lightly. A darts tournament by its nature is not conducive to the recommended “social distancing”. We believe cancellation of the tournament is the best course of action taking into account the well-being of all our members.

At this stage, the make-up week and playoff games will continue as scheduled. Members are encouraged to take the precautions outlined by the BC provincial health officer – wash your hands frequently with soap and water and try to stay 2 metres away from each other. The executive will be watching the situation closely and will take necessary actions as appropriate.
